We have studied the KTM engines and software for a while, looking for changes,  additional power  and features customers would desire. We wanted to have an OEM+ solution. In other words, no piggybacks, no add-ons, no deletion of unnecessary items and something that’s able to revert back to stock quickly for resale; or if a customer changes their mind.  Everything currently on the market was too arduous with no going back to stock in a quick manner.

The KTM 690 in stock format is heavily restricted. With just a flash, you can gain over 12% more power, along with an extended RPM limiter. This is like having a new bike. (See dyno tab)

Stock 2023 KTM SMC R vs BT Moto Stage 1

Gains are huge and across the entire RPM band. Looking at the numbers themselves isn't impressive with a peak gain of 9whp. Though 9whp is an over 12% gain in power, which is HUGE, and across the entire RPM range. The extended RPM limiter helps sustain a wider powerband without sacrificing any reliability. 

RED = STOCK, PUMP GAS - 65WHP / 55WTQ

BLUE = STAGE 1, PUMP GAS - 74WHP / 62WTQ

KTM 690 Dyno

**All runs performed same day, back to back on an independent DynoJet with a 2023 KTM 690 SMC R**

**Testing performed with 93 octane pump gas. Usage of a lower octane will yield smaller power gains. Higher octane larger gains**

Awesome results on a GasGas SM700

I reached out to BT Moto to inform about the possibilities of tuning my GasGas SM700. Reply to email was swift, and clear. All my questions were promptly answered and were very professional. I just wanted to make sure I was buying a good product and service before shelling out an considerable amount of money. I really wanted to tune my bike. Not for the power gains, but basically to make sure it runs smooth, and fueling wasn't too lean after installing a few mods. I really did not want a piggy back module like a PC5 or 6, I think the added wiring and connectors are a cheap and ugly solution. BT Moto offers a Flasher that talks to your ECU directly and reprograms it. I decided to buy the tuning offer for my bike, which was the same as for a KTM 690. A few days later the package arrived, and I got to work downloading the stock tune from my motorcycle. I had to fool the Flasher tool into pretending my motorcycle is a KTM 690 Duke, which has the same ECU as my GasGas SM700. I submitted in the stock tune, together with a description of the mods I had made to my bike (airbox changes, slipon) end of day. The next morning the tune they had put together for my bike was in the customer portal, ready to be installed. Installing the tune was a breeze with the instructions BT Moto gave me. Ok, now a review of the product, the tune. I was running my bike with a different airbox lid, and a slipon, and used a Fuel Dongle to richen up the mixture a bit. After the tune was installed the first thing I noticed was better cold start behavior. And things were only getting better. Throttle smoothness is greatly improved, no more on-off surges mid corner, and in general very well behaved. The power gains however, are unreal. The engine pulls hard all the way from bottom revs. Very, very impressive, this is how a big single should run. See the graphs on the BT Moto's website. These figures are no lies, it's really that good. Around 700 bucks all in seems like a lot of money, but it's definitely worth it. I would say best money spent in a long while. Thank you fine people!

Stop Looking around and buy this.

This product is legit, does not require any of the piggyback modules or tricking sensors etc its a legit tune that breathes new life into your machine. Don’t waste your money on the other stuff. Do it right the first time and buy this you won’t regret it.

If you thought your 690 was near perfect when you first got it, you have to add the BT flash to it. The power increase is noticeable, but its how its applied that really stands out. Its linear and available at all ranges. This is now one of my favorite bikes to ride, hands down!
