NO NEED TO REMOVE YOUR ECU!

The 2016+ Kawasaki H2 and H2R has been on our radar for a long time. With its supercharged engine, the potential for performance increases is massive with a simple ECU calibration. The main issue was the lack of OBD2 flashing support for the platform, that is until now. With extensive back end development, we were able to work out an OBD2 read/write process for these bikes, which is a first in the H2 market! What this means for the end user is that you no longer need to disassemble the front of the bike to remove the ECU and mail it to your tuner. 

Now you can do it through the OBD2 port located under the seat of the motorcycle from the comfort of your garage. Utilizing our Flasher+ Device, you can now tune the bike from home with our popular and impressive Stage 1+ Performance Calibration. While we have had the ability to tune these bikes for a long time via bench process (ECU removal and mail in) we didn't think it was a sustainable option for the market. Any small change or if you ever wanted to go back to stock would require the ECU to be removed and mailed to our location. This incurs downtime, shipping costs and risk for damage when removing and mailing the ECU. Additionally getting to the ECU is really difficult in the nose of the motorcycle. This new process allows for an industry first at home tuning solution with no need to remove the ECU! While this process is new, the tuning process is not. We have spent countless hours on the dyno behind the scenes.

THE DETAILS

  • FUELING -  With custom tuning we can target better AFR (air/fuel ratio) plots to enhance not only racing performance, but also cruising and partial throttle inputs.
  • IGNITION - Optimized to make the most power while still being safe and reliable.
  • THROTTLE DERESTRICTION - Giving you the ability to utilize 100% of the throttle is paramount in track situations where you need all the power you can get on demand. The factory file has a “dead spot” on the top end that kills the bikes power curve when it should be making the most. This also means any kind of straight line acceleration also suffers. We remove these factory restrictions to ensure a smooth and predictable throttle, all the way to redline. This can lead to 50-60whp gains combined with other maps.
  • LOWER FAN-ON TEMP - Let’s face it, this bike rides a little on the hot side. To help not only the riders enjoyment but also keep the engine slightly cooler, we've lowered the fan-on temps.
  • INCREASED RPM LIMITER (at customer request) - The H2 stock RPM limiter is set to 12,700 RPM. We have been testing 13,500 RPM with zero negative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 13,500 RPM in all gears. This helps you stay in the powerband longer and reduces the need to shift at the track. H2R is 14,500. We can also lower this to factory if desired.
  • INCREASED TOP SPEED LIMITER - Removed so you can let the bike run free in any track environment.
  • EXHAUST VALVE MANAGEMENT - Improved and optimized for peak performance and sound.
  • RACING TOOLS - activate features like the downshift autoblipper built into the bike but not activate through software

  • Due to the sensitive nature of the H2/H2Rs AFR (air/fuel ratio) and the platforms almost endless aftermarket options, the file we deliver you is safe, and may need the fueling to be adjusted to meet your bikes individual needs for racing for 100% performance. We build specific maps for safety, power and ram air.  For racing and top end racing situations - we recommend an intercooler kit.
  • 2015 (EU3.5) H2's do not have OBD functionality, so we are starting at 2016 with ECU numbers starting at 21175-12xx and up. 09xx and 1100 tend to be PRE OBD.

2024 Kawasaki H2 CARBON ABS

Zoom. Yeah it works great. Can't even open it up till third gear because I can't keep the front wheel down on the ground. Bike was a beast off the showroom, it just went off the charts fast. Still working on other mods, but I am preparing for the all electric era when we still have our cool toys in the garage. Can never go wrong with BT Moto maps.

A+ product, a beast unleashed. I opted for Stage1 because the bike is fast enough, if i get bored ill get Stage2, but doesnt look like thats happening anytime soon! She power wheelies in 3rd.

'21 Z H2. All I can say is WOW, everyone always says that it transforms the bike but. WOW... The on and off throttle is absolutely BUTTER smooth. The bike used to feel like the power would just smack you in the face after you open the throttle up, but this is SO smooth up and through the power band. And HOLY HELL the power up top is INSANE in a stage 1 tune let alone on that. I'm not paid for this, but I'm just posting this as an absolutely bonkers happy customer from BT moto (Bren tuning moto). I cannot tell you how absolutely worth it, it is to flash your bike. Its just SO smooth. It absolutely blows my mind everytime I get on and ride off. I find it WAY easier to put down power out of the corner and MAN is there PLENTY of it! It's also an absolute MONSTER wheelie machine in 3rd and 4th now. It a little to get used to. But I can't say this enough, RUN to your computer and order one TO DAY! DONT WAIT JUST DO IT!!!!!
