The 2016+ Kawasaki H2 and H2R has been on our radar for a long time. With its supercharged engine, the potential for performance increases is massive with a simple ECU calibration. The main issue was the lack of OBD2 flashing support for the platform, that is until now. With extensive back end development, we were able to work out an OBD2 read/write process for these bikes, which is a first in the H2 market! What this means for the end user is that you no longer need to disassemble the front of the bike to remove the ECU and mail it to your tuner.
Now you can do it through the OBD2 port located under the seat of the motorcycle from the comfort of your garage. Utilizing our Flasher+ Device, you can now tune the bike from home with our popular and impressive Stage 1+ Performance Calibration. While we have had the ability to tune these bikes for a long time via bench process (ECU removal and mail in) we didn't think it was a sustainable option for the market. Any small change or if you ever wanted to go back to stock would require the ECU to be removed and mailed to our location. This incurs downtime, shipping costs and risk for damage when removing and mailing the ECU. Additionally getting to the ECU is really difficult in the nose of the motorcycle. This new process allows for an industry first at home tuning solution with no need to remove the ECU! While this process is new, the tuning process is not. We have spent countless hours on the dyno behind the scenes.
