The 2016-2024 ZX-14 is something we wanted to tackle for many years, but was never able to be flashed through the OBD2 port, which is very important for us and our customer base. Being able to use our standard issue handheld tuner allows for multiple maps and the ability to go back to stock at any point, all without mailing your ECU in. Customers are very excited to see this bike tuned through the OBD2 port and we were the first to finish this project for the community.

THE DETAILS
- FUELING - With custom tuning we can target better AFR (air/fuel ratio) plots to enhance not only racing performance, but also cruising and partial throttle inputs.
- IGNITION - Optimized to make the most power while still being safe and reliable.
- THROTTLE DE-RESTRICTION - Giving you the ability to utilize 100% of the throttle is paramount in track situations where you need all the power you can get on demand. The factory file has a “dead spot” on the top end that kills the bikes power curve when it should be making the most. This also means any kind of straight line acceleration also suffers. We remove these factory restrictions to ensure a smooth and predictable throttle, all the way to redline.
- LOWER FAN-ON TEMP - Let’s face it, this bike rides a little on the hot side. To help not only the riders enjoyment but also keep the engine slightly cooler, we've lowered the fan-on temps.
- INCREASED RPM LIMITER (at customer request) - The stock RPM limiter is set to 11,000 RPM. We have been testing 11,600 RPM with zero negative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 11,600 RPM in all gears. This helps you stay in the powerband longer and reduces the need to shift at the track.
- INCREASED TOP SPEED LIMITER - Removed so you can let the bike run free in any track environment.
- EXHAUST VALVE MANAGEMENT - Improved and optimized for peak performance and sound.
- RACING TOOLS - activate features like the downshift autoblipper built into the bike but not activate through software
PLEASE NOTE
- WHY 2016? 2015 was a mid ecu year change. ZX14s with ecu # 21175-11xx and higher ecus are covered under our OBD flash tool, 07xx ecus are not.
- Due to the sensitive nature of the ZX-14R's AFR (air/fuel ratio) and the platforms almost endless aftermarket options, the file we deliver will be safe you may need the fueling to be adjusted to meet your bikes individual needs. In this instance of extreme racing or wanting every last horsepower, we recommend a piggyback fuel controller and wideband or an "auto-tuner" that can aid you in correcting your fuel maps under real life condition (if needed).

Dyno Testing
MODS: 2024 Kawasaki ZX-14 With and Without our BT-MOTO flash, 5th gear
RED = Stock flash with 93 Pump Gas - 181whp / 108wtq
BLUE = Stage 1 flash with 91 Pump Gas - 194whp / 113wtq
This graph below shows stock vs flashed on 93 pump gas, same day. This was done in 5th gear to show power differences between stock and flashed. The gains are all across the RPM range and the bike even gains 5WTQ at peak RPM. With our extended RPM limiter (optional) we can widen the already robust powerband for less shifting at the track and more power per gear. These gains are impressive with tuning only.

**Testing performed with 93 octane pump gas. Usage of a lower octane will yield smaller power gains. Higher octane larger gains**
