WHAT STAGE 1 INCLUDES

  • Correct fueling on each cylinder in “Alpha N” mode 
  • Raised RPM limiter for much longer powerband (see  (beyond US/Euro restricted limitations)
  • Top speed limiter removed for better use of 5th-6th gear
  • Raised load/torque limiters to match new ETV setttings
  • Revised throttle limitations to 100%, stock bike restricted to 66% throttle at redline, less than 50% for US
  • Ignition timing adjustments
  • Corrected fueling that was causing engine break-up and aggressive hesitation in midrange (see dyno graph)
  • On off throttle transitions sorted for better around town and race track ability.
  • Up to +10HP/+8TQ gains

With limited options on the market for the CB1000R, we used our experience with the RR-R and RR ecu and markets/platforms to come up with our own. Using our in-house motorcycle dynometer and datalogging capabilities, we were able to systematically fix the glaring deficiencies in the platform. 

  • No OBD dyno tuned tuning options currently on the market
  • Low power because throttle limiter
  • Low top speed, no use of high rpm in 5th and 6th gear, even in Euro bikes
  • Startup issues when exhaust is installed or even stock
  • Issues when exhaust is installed, lean misfire, exhaust break up
  • Acceleration that isn’t smooth through the entire RPM range due to inaccurate AFR
  • Engine seems to struggle off idle to 4000rpm and then lurch at 10,000 RPM
  • Power that seems to level off (flatten) after 10,000 RPM with the throttle limiting in place

You can see our tuning safely increases the RPM /throttle limiter while giving you more power in the across the entire RPM range, especially the midrange and top end. AFR in the midange stock is extremely lean, and power falls off up top (stock).

RED = Stock tuning, 91 pump gas

BLUE = BT Moto Stage 1, 91 pump gas

Amazing power increase

Huge power increases

! Plus 12hp on the local dynomite tuner. what a gem, came from KCS tuning sc77 file and this is night and day. It feels more like my mates sc82 now. Maxes out speedo, bike seems much more liberated - lower the throttle response. Look forward to the velocity stacks you guys are making.
