After 3 years of testing and development, the stars finally aligned to allow us to release the first ever at home ECU Tuning device for your 2018+ XL750 TransAlp.

Tune your TransAlp from the comfort of your own garage with our simple and easy to use handheld tuning device. This is a TransAlp first after years of mail-in ECU options. Our handheld tuning device allows for our modified ECU tune along with saving the stock tune in-case you ever want to go back to the original map.

With a low top speed limiter and a weird dulled throttle map, the ultra reliable TransAlp benefits from a nice kick in performance along with improved throttle response per mode and of course, removing the pesky top speed limiter that has been a thorn in the side for years. With additional power over the curve as icing on the cake.

  • Correct fueling on each cylinder in “Alpha N” mode 
  • Raised RPM limiter for much longer powerband (see  (beyond US/Euro restricted limitations)
  • Top speed limiter removed for better use of 5th-6th gear
  • Raised load/torque limiters to match new ETV setttings
  • Revised throttle limitations to 100%, stock bike restricted to 66% throttle at redline, less than 50% for US

This thing ROCKS

Wow, this really is a big improvement. The title of my review refers to a comment made by Nicky Hayden back in 2001 when he was featuring as a test rided on the new GL1800 in a promotional video of Honda. You see a yellow GL1800 coming to a stop, the driver takes of his helmet and with a big grin states: 'Wow, this thing rocks" then he puts on his helmet, revs the engine and takes of skidding and sliding! Ever since I've read about this upgrade I was eager to get it but unfortunately it took some time before BTMoto had an European Euro5 ECU-flash available for my type of ECU (MKC-W31). I installed the BTmoto ECU flash last week on my 2021 GL1800 DCT. The installation was a peace of cake after I watched the tutorials on Youtube. When I took it for the first drive I was flabbergasted! All what I read about the improvement was really noticeable. The bike feels more responsive and shifting is so much smoother. You can really feel the extra horsepower and torque. If You like the twisties and love to feel the bottompower of the powerful six cylinder then this is the thing for you. This is what Honda should have done in the first place. Personaly I'm convinced that there's even much more possible with this engine but then I should have bought myself a 'Fireblade" ot other crotch rocket ;-). Thanks BT Moto for this!

2020 Goldwing

It's amazing the difference, Touring mode is more powerful, Sport mode is really fun, the throttle is so much smoother, no jerking like before, passing power is way better, she gets, I love the upgrade.

Definite improvement.

I mainly see the biggest improvement in sport mode . Not jerky like before. It also pulls longer due to the rpm increase. I only wish there was a DCT module tune . The Bike still shifts up to fast in tour mode IMO . In tour mode it's in 7th gear. At 48 mph. So if Cruiseing at 50 and want to do a moderate accelerate its flat unless you do a hard twist to get it to shift down. Or manually shift down. I was hoping this tune would make that better. But they told me that's in the DCT Module . I still think it worth the money for what it improves.

Product accurately represented

Believe what's been written about this re-flash. I came off an '07 GL1800 onto an '18 DCT and was disappointed. This is what the flash delivered: - 13.83 more rear wheel hp shows up in Tour mode - Throttle response is night and day, mushiness is gone - The twitchiness of Sport has been smoothed out - Econ & Rain untouched - Speed limiter eliminated Don't be intimidated by the technology involved. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there to walk you step-by-step as you install.
