WHAT DOES THIS KIT DO?

- Relocates the Intake Air Temp (IAT) sensor.
- Moves the IAT sensor from the factory location near the cylinder head to the front of the bike to get a true ambient reading.
- A true ambient reading means more power but also means consistent power.
- Noticeable improvements in stop-and-go traffic, starting a race from a stop and exiting the pit.
- No downside and dyno proven gains across the powerband (see dyno chart below).
- Maximizes airflow to the engine with custom velocity stacks
- Adds performance air filter needed to maximize airflow with new performance parts

BLUE = Stock Velocity Stacks, full bolt-on, VP100 fuel - 206whp / 94wtq full bolt-on 2017 BMW S1000RR
RED = BT Moto Velocity Stacks, full bolt-on, VP100 fuel - 209whp / 93wtq full bolt-on 2017 BMW S1000RR
You can see from the dyno chart below the peak gains are minimal but that's not the whole story. See the BT Moto induction kit curve, there's a significant amount of powerband where the stacks make more power, most notably the top end. The intake kit also smooth out the known power dip around 11,500 RPM. Peak torque is reduced by 1 but overall makes more torque over most of the RPM range.

RED = Stock Velocity Stacks (93 Pump Gas) - 163WHP / 91WTQ
BLUE = BT Moto Velocity Stacks (93 Pump Gas) - 179WHP / 93WTQ
You can see from the dyno chart below the peak gains are HUGE while the midrange loss is extremely minimal (2-3HP). See the BT Moto induction kit curve, there's a significant amount of powerband where the stacks make more power, most notably the top end. Peak torque is increased as well.
