2017+ DUCATI 950 with Bosch ECU

The 950 is a popular Ducati engine but not really known for it's striking performance. With our vast knowledge of the 1260 ecu (same as the 950) we wanted to take the 950 platform to the next level with our custom flashing. It actually isone of the more challenging engines to tune right, and for many months we struggled as did the rest of the aftermarket.  But finally we are here. After our years of working on the Ducati platform you start to see a lot of similarities between the different models. With 12 years of Bosch coding with BMW bikes, we were able to  jump ahead of the competition to provide a flash that feels OEM. After riding your 950 with our custom tuning, you'll wonder why you waited so long to get it. Customers reach out to us and tell us that this is how the bike should have felt from the factory. Being motorcycle enthusiasts ourselves, we couldn't agree more with that assessment.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN STAGE 1?

• The Bosch control units are a bear with fuel and have serious driveability issues and without understanding the fuel model, it will never drive well - with and without a performance map. After years of dissecting the Bosch code, we have finally come up with a proper fuel mapping specific to your 950 engine, completed at all throttle angles, with and without silencer pipes
• We spent extensive time re-writing the torque model, and ETV along with the fuel targets. We increase power at all throttle angles (25-50-75-100%) evenly for on and off road use. As the factory bike only maintains 3whp at 25% and barely accelerates at cruise speeds, making the bike unusable off road. With our map the powers 4xs, it maintains 12whp and 20wtq at 25% throttle and can maintain its own weight at low and high speeds
• Fan temp decreased to keep engine in ideal operating temps and to make driving at low speed more tolerable
• Modified ignition timing for horsepower at part and full throttle optimization
• Top speed governor removal (stock limit tops out before horsepower/aero)
• Cleaned up engine startups with a stronger idle and lack of stalling
• Smoother and more responsive rideability with our fuel and ignition change
  
• Raised RPM limiter to maximize acceleration curve
• 8-10whp at full throttle gain 91 or 93 fuel
• Increased torque limit cap from 80% to 99%
