2023+ CFMOTO 800NK / IBEX 800 E ECU FLASH

The 2023+ CFMOTO 800NK and Ibex 800 E are capable platforms with strong performance potential, but the factory calibration leaves room for improvement in power delivery, throttle response, fueling, and overall rideability.

The BT Moto Stage 1 ECU Flash was developed to unlock that potential while maintaining the refinement, reliability, and factory functionality riders expect from an OEM quality calibration.

Using our extensive experience with Bosch engine management systems, we spent countless hours on the dyno and test bench analyzing the factory ECU strategy, datalogging engine behavior, validating calibration changes, and stress testing revisions before release.

We optimize the systems controlling fueling, ignition timing, throttle mapping, torque delivery, RPM limits, and thermal management to create a motorcycle that feels stronger, smoother, and more responsive throughout the usable RPM range.

OEM+ PERFORMANCE WITHOUT PIGGYBACKS

When we say OEM+, we mean improving the motorcycle through the factory Bosch ECU rather than adding external hardware to work around it.

There are no piggyback fuel controllers, no unnecessary add-on modules, and no permanent ECU modifications.

The motorcycle retains its factory electronics and functionality, while the ECU calibration itself is properly optimized for performance.

5–15 HP GAINS WITH STRONGER POWER THROUGH THE RPM RANGE

Peak horsepower is only part of what makes a motorcycle faster and more enjoyable to ride.

Our CFMOTO 800NK and Ibex 800 E ECU tune is developed to improve horsepower and torque throughout the usable RPM range, including the partial throttle areas riders use every day.

Instead of concentrating exclusively on wide open throttle dyno numbers, we recalibrate the ECU at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% throttle.

This results in stronger roll-on acceleration, improved midrange torque, sharper response when the throttle is opened, and more consistent power as engine speed increases.

Depending on throttle position and supporting airflow modifications, gains of approximately 5–15 HP are possible.

The objective is not simply to make a larger number at the top of a dyno graph. We want the additional performance to be noticeable every time you ride the motorcycle.

OPTIMIZED FUELING & IGNITION TIMING

Proper ECU tuning requires considerably more than simply adding fuel or increasing ignition advance.

Using our experience with Bosch motorcycle engine management systems, we analyze the factory calibration and optimize fueling and ignition strategy around what the engine actually requires.

Fuel targets are recalibrated to improve horsepower, torque, throttle response, and overall rideability while maintaining the consistency expected from a properly developed OEM style calibration.

Ignition timing is also optimized for 91+ octane fuel, allowing the engine to produce stronger and more consistent performance without relying on unnecessarily aggressive timing strategies.

COMPLETE THROTTLE MAP CALIBRATION

One of the most noticeable improvements from the BT Moto calibration is how directly and predictably the motorcycle responds to the rider.

The factory ECU controls power differently depending on throttle position, engine speed, and operating conditions. Because of this, tuning only wide open throttle leaves a large portion of the motorcycle's real world performance untouched.

We recalibrate throttle behavior at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% throttle to improve power delivery across a wide range of riding conditions.

The result is stronger acceleration, improved midrange response, and smoother, more predictable power whether you're cruising, passing traffic, riding aggressively on the street, or using the motorcycle on track.

OPTIONAL RPM & SPEED LIMITER CHANGES

For riders looking to further optimize performance, an optional increased RPM limiter can extend the usable powerband.

Carrying a gear farther can reduce unnecessary shifting and help keep the engine in the strongest portion of its power curve during aggressive riding.

When combined with the appropriate speed limiter changes, the extended usable RPM range can also improve acceleration and maximum speed capability where applicable.

RPM and speed limiter modifications are optional and can be selected based on the rider's intended use.

FACTORY CLOSED LOOP FUELING RETAINED

The BT Moto Stage 1 calibration retains the motorcycle's factory closed loop oxygen sensor strategy.

This allows the ECU to continue monitoring and correcting fueling during normal operation, helping maintain excellent drivability, adaptive fueling, and fuel economy while still benefiting from the performance improvements within our calibration.

There is no requirement for emissions delete hardware to use the Stage 1 calibration.

IMPROVED HEAT MANAGEMENT

A properly developed ECU calibration should improve more than horsepower.

We also refine the motorcycle's thermal management strategy to help maintain cooler and more consistent operating temperatures during demanding riding conditions.

This helps provide more consistent performance whether you're commuting, riding aggressively, touring, or spending extended time at higher engine loads.
