THIS PRODUCT IS FINALLY AVAILABLE VIA OUR HANDHELD TUNER! ALLOWING YOU TO SEAMLESSLY TUNE YOUR MOTORCYCLE FROM THE COMFORT OF YOUR OWN HOME OR SHOP.

The 2024–2026 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 is an exceptionally capable motorcycle, but the factory ECU calibration still places electronic restrictions on throttle response, power delivery, RPM, and overall engine performance.

BT Moto developed our Stage 1+ ECU Flash Tune for the 2024–2026 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 to properly recalibrate those factory strategies and extract more performance from the 1160cc triple cylinder engine without relying on piggyback controllers or external tuning modules.

The result is more horsepower and torque, stronger midrange acceleration, improved partial throttle performance, a wider usable powerband, smoother deceleration, and noticeably sharper throttle response throughout every riding mode.

Best of all, this calibration is available with the BT Moto Handheld Tuner, allowing you to flash your Speed Triple ECU from the comfort of your own home or shop and return the motorcycle to its original calibration whenever needed.

UNLOCK THE 2024–2026 TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE 1200

Modern motorcycles don't control engine output with fueling alone. The factory ECU determines how much performance is available using a combination of electronic throttle control, requested torque strategies, ignition timing, fueling, RPM limits, and additional engine management tables.

That means opening the throttle grip to 100% does not necessarily mean the ECU is commanding 100% of the available engine output.

BT Moto addresses these restrictions directly inside the factory ECU.

Rather than attempting to manipulate sensor signals with an external device, our Stage 1+ calibration modifies the actual strategies controlling the engine. This allows us to improve power delivery at both full throttle and the partial throttle positions riders use every day.

The result is a Speed Triple 1200 that responds more directly to rider input, accelerates harder throughout the rev range, and continues producing power farther into the upper RPM range.

DYNO PROVEN SPEED TRIPLE 1200 PERFORMANCE

Our 2024–2026 Triumph Speed Triple 1200 ECU tune was developed using extensive same day, back-to-back Dynojet testing.

The motorcycle was tested stock and tuned using the same fuel, same dyno, same day, and same test configuration to accurately measure the changes produced by the ECU calibration.

100% THROTTLE DYNO RESULTS

Stock, 91 Octane Pump Gas:
165 WHP / 90 WTQ

BT Moto Stage 1+, 91 Octane Pump Gas:
177 WHP / 92 WTQ

That's approximately 12 additional wheel horsepower at peak with no mechanical changes to the motorcycle.

More importantly, the difference becomes increasingly noticeable at approximately 7,000 RPM and above, where the BT Moto calibration continues producing power through the extended RPM range instead of being limited by the stock ECU strategy.

PARTIAL THROTTLE PERFORMANCE

Peak horsepower tells only part of the story.

We also develop and validate our calibration at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% throttle. These throttle positions are critical because they represent how the motorcycle is actually ridden during corner exits, passing, street acceleration, and normal performance riding.

Our testing has shown gains of approximately 7–17 horsepower at certain partial throttle positions and RPM ranges, depending on operating conditions.

At 25% and 50% throttle, the recalibrated electronic throttle and engine management strategies maintain a stronger, more linear power curve rather than allowing power to fall away as RPM increases.

This is why the improvement can feel considerably larger from the rider's seat than the peak horsepower number alone suggests.

Dyno testing performed back-to-back on the same Dynojet using California ACN 91 octane pump gasoline. Results can vary based on fuel quality, motorcycle configuration, environmental conditions, and installed modifications.

BETTER THROTTLE RESPONSE AND RIDEABILITY

A proper Speed Triple ECU tune should improve more than maximum horsepower.

BT Moto recalibrates the throttle and torque strategies throughout the operating range to provide a more predictable relationship between rider input and engine output.

The result is stronger midrange acceleration, improved off idle response, better partial throttle performance, and smoother power delivery while retaining excellent low speed control.

We also smooth the factory injector cut off strategy to reduce the excessively aggressive engine braking and abrupt deceleration found in the stock calibration.

OEM+ ECU TUNING, NOT A PIGGYBACK

Our approach is to improve the Speed Triple using the same sophisticated engine management system Triumph designed into the motorcycle.

Instead of installing a piggyback fuel controller or additional tuning box, BT Moto recalibrates the factory Triumph ECU directly.

This provides access to the electronic throttle, fueling, ignition, torque, RPM, speed limiter, and thermal management strategies that actually control engine performance.

Whether your Speed Triple 1200 is completely stock or equipped with a supported exhaust, air filter, or other proven performance modifications, your calibration can be configured for your specific setup.

More power. Better throttle response. A wider powerband. Factory level integration.

TUNE YOUR SPEED TRIPLE 1200 FROM HOME

The BT Moto Handheld Tuner gives you direct access to your motorcycle's ECU from your own garage or shop.

Once your motorcycle is set up with the handheld, tune files can be transferred directly to the device and flashed into the factory ECU. This makes future calibration updates simple when changing supported exhaust systems, air filters, or other modifications.

The handheld also allows you to store multiple ECU files, read and clear diagnostic trouble codes, and return the motorcycle to its original stock calibration whenever needed.

This means you aren't permanently locked into one calibration and you don't need to repeatedly remove and ship your ECU every time your motorcycle's configuration changes.

IMPORTANT: SOME ECUs MAY REQUIRE A ONE TIME BENCH READ

Due to differences in factory ECU software versions, some 2024–2026 Speed Triple 1200 motorcycles may require the ECU to be mailed to BT Moto one time for a bench read before handheld tuning can begin.

This process allows us to obtain the appropriate original ECU data and prepare the correct stock file for the tuning server.

This is a one time initialization process when required. Once the ECU has been prepared and your handheld is configured, future supported tune changes can be performed through the BT Moto Handheld Tuner without repeatedly mailing the ECU.

MAIL IN ECU FLASH OPTION

For customers who do not want or need the BT Moto Handheld Tuner, a mail in ECU flash option is also available.

With the mail in option, you remove your ECU and send it directly to BT Moto for programming. We flash the appropriate Stage 1+ calibration directly to your ECU and return it ready for installation.

For mail in ECU customers, we recommend having an OBD2 scan tool and Triumph EU5 diagnostic adapter available in case a one time check engine light needs to be cleared after reinstalling the ECU.

Recommended scan tool: Autel AL319
Required adapter: OBD2 to Triumph EU5 diagnostic adapter

Handheld tuning for maximum flexibility or mail in ECU flashing for simplicity, choose the option that works best for you.

Dyno Testing

Stock (24-26) Triumph Speed Triple 1200 BT Moto Stage 1 (5th Gear).

The graph below shows stock tuning vs BT Moto Stage 1 with no changes other than tuning. Same gas, same day, same dyno, same strap. The gains come from removing torque limiters and custom fueling/ignition with an extended RPM limiter. We really start to see a separation in power around 7,000RPM that carries all the way to the extended RPM limiter. This extended RPM limiter provides more power while also giving you a wider powerband.

Speed Triple Dyno

The graph below shows the gains at 25% throttle. With the throttle response raised over stock you can see partial throttle gains up top to maintain a linear power curve, and not just cut power at a certain RPM.

Speed Triple 1200 Dyno 25%

The graph below shows the gains at 50% throttle. With the throttle response raised over stock you can see partial throttle gains across the entire RPM band. Light to light this is a whole different bike to the rider, but tip-in throttle is still nice and smooth.

Speed Triple 1200 Dyno 50%

**All runs performed same day, back to back on an independent DynoJet**

**Testing performed with California ACN 91 octane pump gas. Usage of a lower octane will yield smaller power gains. Higher octane larger gains**
